The CDIF State/Event Subject Area is methodology-independent and can be used in an object-oriented context or in a structured or other context. All concepts can be formally annotated with detailed timing descriptions.
Some of the concepts provided by this Subject Area are: State, State decomposition, State reuse, Transition, Event, Condition, Timer. Statecharts are fully supported.
