The CDIF Presentation Location and Connectivity Subject Area

The CDIF Presentation Location and Connectivity Subject Area supports the representation of annotated node-edge diagrams found in modeling tools. This subject area defines presentation information only; if semantic information is to be represented, one or more of those subject areas within the CDIF Integrated Meta-model that define semantic content shall be used.

Some of the concepts defined in this subject area are: PositionedElement (a shape on screen), Edge, EdgeElement, connectivity (to prevent disassociated lines), Point, AbsolutePoint, RelativePoint, Diagram, Annotation, multimedia annotation.
