The CDIF Object-oriented Analysis and Design Subject Area addresses the need for communicate object analysis and design models between tools supporting the same or different methodologies.

Some of the concepts supported are are: Class, Interface, Attribute, Operation, Method, inheritance.

Current Work

This working group started out in 1994. The active technical work in this Working Group has been suspended in 1996 in order to synchronize with the Object Management Group's Request for Proposals for an Object Analysis and Design Facility. We will resume active work after the deadline for submissions to the OMG in July 1997.
