The CDIF Bindings to OMG IDL (CORBA)
The CDIF bindings to OMG IDL provide a standard access mechanism to CDIF model and meta-model objects using the Object Management Group's Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA). This mechanism is defined as a mapping from the CDIF Integrated Meta-model (and any proprietary extensions) into CORBA/IDL.
The defined IDL allows access to all CDIF model and meta-model objects, heterogeneous meta-model support by different CORBA servers, cross-server traversal, meta-object lookup and discovery.
